 Arthur Wing Pinero 

Arthur Wing Pinero (1855-1934) was an English dramatist. He was born in London and studied law before going on the stage. In 1875, he joined the Lyceum repertory company at Edinburgh. He began writing plays shortly afterwards, and became one of the most prolific and successful playwrights of his time. He is best known for his comedies, of which the most notable are:
