Brush Creek Township is a township located in Faribault County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 241.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 93.4 km² (36.1 mi²). 91.0 km² (35.1 mi²) of it is land and 2.5 km² (0.9 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.63% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 241 people, 87 households, and 66 families residing in the township. The population density is 2.6/km² (6.9/mi²). There are 96 housing units at an average density of 1.1/km² (2.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 1.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 87 households out of which 39.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.0% are married couples living together, 1.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 24.1% are non-families. 20.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.77 and the average family size is 3.26.
