 Buddy Ebsen 

Buddy Ebsen (Christian Rudolph Ebsen) (born April 2, 1908) is an American actor.

He began his career as a dancer, making his film debut in 1935. Ebsen starred as Jed Clampett in the television show The Beverly Hillbillies[?] and was in the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. He later starred in a TV drama series, Barnaby Jones. One of Buddy's claims to fame was that he would have been the Tin Man in the film of The Wizard of Oz but he was allergic to the silver makeup.

David Letterman once remarked he had the body of an 'older' Buddy Ebsen.
