CamarillaThe Camarilla are a fictional society of vampires, composed of 7 clans, from White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade books and role-playing games. Their symbol is a medieval cross, hanging from a necklace. White Wolf states, "[The Camarilla] is the largest sect of undead on [Earth]. [They] assert that all vampires are already under their [jurisdiction]. (VtM3 -- p.65) The Camarilla was founded, during the 15th Century, in response to the Inquisition. The group primarily concerns itself with the Masquerade, an attempt to "hide" vampirism, from humanity. The organization is headquartered[?] in Venice, Italy. The Camarilla are at war with the Sabbat.
