Center is a city located in Oliver County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 678. It is the county seat of Oliver County6.
Geography
Center is located at 47°6'54" North, 101°18'1" West (47.114928, -101.300361)1.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there are 678 people, 279 households, and 196 families residing in the city. The population density is 671.2/km² (1,743.8/mi²). There are 310 housing units at an average density of 306.9/km² (797.3/mi²).
