Humble PieHumble Pie was a hard rock band, formed in 1969 by Steve Marriott[?] (of the Small Faces), Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley[?] (of the Spooky Tooth[?]) and Jerry Shirley[?]. Their debut single was "Natural Born Boogie", a British hit, which was followed by As Safe As Yesterday Is[?]. Personnel problems and label disputes kept the band from achieving massive success, and Frampton left the band in 1971 to begin a solo career.With Dave Clempson[?] replacing Frampton, Humble Pie moved towards an even harder sound but was still unable to break into the mainstream.
