Joanna Lumley (born May 1, 1947 in India) is an actress and former model who is best known for her portrayal of the boozing, drug-taking sexpot Patsy Stone on the British comedy television show Absolutely Fabulous.

She has also starred in the television show Mirrorball[?], and appeared in various films including James and the Giant Peach[?] and Cold Comfort Farm. Tall, leggy, thin and blonde, she began her acting career as a Bond girl[?].
