 Peng Dehuai 

Peng Dehuai (1898 - 1974) joined the Communist Party of China in 1927 and participated in the Long March.

He was commander of Chinese forces during the Korean War. Although he was Defense minister of China, a member of the politburo and a marshal of the People's Liberation Army he was disgraced in 1959 because he criticized Mao Zedong's Great Leap Forward. He was rehabilitated in 1978 after his death.
