Raleigh are a British Bicycle manufacturer who are based in Nottingham in central England.

Raleigh were founded in 1895 and soon became one of the words largest bicycle manufacturers. At it's height in the 1950s the Raleigh factory in Nottingham employed nearly 20,000 workers. Today Raleigh produce 600,000 bicycles a year, although as from 2002 their bicycles are no longer made in Britain, although they are still designed there.
