In general, rush implies that somthing happens quickly.A rush, also called an adrenaline rush, is an energetic and slighly euphoric feeling that occurs when something scary or dangerous happens. Recreational drugs can bring on or intensify this kind of rush.
In music, to rush is to play faster than the indicated tempo. Rushing is usually accidental and undesirable.
